Avaya Cloud Office UCaaS Solution now available in more of Europe

Avaya and RingCentral have announced the expansion of Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral across Europe, with the solution now generally available in Ireland, France and the Netherlands. In addition, the companies also announced that they have signed their first seven-figure deal with a large UK-based Government customer.

“The commercial availability of Avaya Cloud Office means that our team is forging ahead to bring all the benefits of cloud-based unified communciations to enterprise, mid-market and SME businesses across the island of Ireland,” said Aidan Furlong, Country General Manager, Avaya Ireland. “There has never been a more important time for communication and collaboration solutions that enable people to work from anywhere and across a wide range of devices. Businesses looking to optimise their remote working ability will be able to put Avaya Cloud Office to work immediately and will reap the benefits of a connected and collaborative workforce now and into the future whatever stage they are at in their digital journey.”

This geographic expansion of Avaya Cloud Office follows the launch of the solution in Canada, the UK and Australia in June and the United States in March. Since then, the solution has seen uptake continue to accelerate, with a growing number of new customers being signed across every country in which Avaya Cloud Office is available.

“It is now more important than ever before that vendors in UC&C are able to provide UCaaS for clients both new and potential,” said Oru Mohiuddin, Research Manager Enterprise Communications & Collaboration, IDC. “According to the IDC Europe forecast, UCaaS will grow at a compounded annual growth rate of 23.3% between 2019 and 2023, higher than 17.1% as anticipated during the pre-COVID-19 period.”
