Kodak Alaris hosted a Partner Summit for more than 130 value added resellers and distributors from the Europe, Africa and the Middle East region in early February in Lisbon, Portugal. Channel partners from across the region attended the two-day kickoff event, which was a clear demonstration of Kodak Alaris’ commitment to its partners as the primary vehicle for delivering information management solutions that simplify and improve the way customers work.
“In this age of data chaos, we see tremendous opportunities to help customers accelerate digital transformation, remove complexity and unlock the power of information,” said Rick Costanzo, President and General Manager, Kodak Alaris Information Management.
“Our partners play a critical role. They are our extended team. Their efforts reflect directly on our bottom line. So, it is important to host these events and share our vision, strategy and product roadmap for 2017 and beyond.”
The summit included a mix of presentations by Kodak Alaris senior executives and sales teams, breakout sessions and technical workshops where delegates were given a recap of 2016 business results and a preview of sales and marketing initiatives designed to help partners grow together with Kodak Alaris. There was also a series of demos where partners could test drive the latest technologies.
In addition, Kodak Alaris hosted an awards ceremony as part of a gala event to recognise the achievements of its highest performing partners from the region. Kodak Alaris handed out 16 awards to partners in a variety of categories. Marc Jourlait, CEO of Kodak Alaris, made a special appearance to introduce himself and deliver a warm and inspiring welcome address.
One of the highlights of the event was the unveiling of the new and highly anticipated Alaris Partner Programme that Kodak Alaris will be introducing this year. The Alaris partner programme offers a number of new sales tools, incentives and technical resources designed to support partners and help them expand their businesses.
“Scansation is a longstanding Kodak Alaris partner and its existing partner programme is probably the best amongst all of our suppliers,” said Sid Sutherland, Managing Director, Scansation. “The support we receive has always been fantastic and it is great to know that Kodak Alaris is committed to making it even better.”
Attendees took time out for a fun-filled evening, driving GoCars through the streets of Lisbon, exploring the city in tuk-tuks and participating in a treasure hunt.
“It was important to bring together our regional partners and deliver a first-class experience, from our gala award dinner, to sight-seeing in the beautiful city of Lisbon, to networking and aligning behind our vision and a common set of goals,” concluded Costanzo. “Based on the enthusiastic response from our partners, the event was a great success. We look forward to hosting it again next year.”
