Check Point Software Technologies has appointed Vincent Mabaso as Head of Channel, Africa, to accelerate its Partner-First strategy and expand delivery of its Prevention-First, unified security platform across the continent.
Mabaso will lead regional channel strategy, enabling partners to help organisations reduce cyber-risk, simplify operations and innovate securely in an increasingly AI-driven economy. As African organisations modernise across cloud, SaaS, hybrid environments and AI-powered workflows, security leaders face growing pressure to reduce complexity and improve visibility into risk.
Check Point addresses these challenges through a unified, open platform built around four pillars: Hybrid Mesh Network Security, Workspace Security, Exposure Management and AI Security. Together, these capabilities deliver prevention-first protection across networks, cloud, endpoints and AI systems without forcing customers into closed architectures.
Previously serving as Distribution Manager, Mabaso strengthened supply chain efficiency and partner enablement. His promotion reflects Check Point’s focus on developing regional leadership aligned to market needs.
Under his leadership, the company will expand technical training, certifications and sales enablement, while accelerating growth of the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) model across Africa.
“African enterprises and SMEs need security that enables growth rather than slows it down,” said Mabaso. “Our role is to empower partners with a unified, AI-driven platform that reduces complexity, strengthens resilience and allows organisations to innovate with confidence.”
