Westcon-Comstor has launched the Partner Growth Circle with Palo Alto Networks, introducing joint business planning, technical enablement and demand-generation support to help selected channel partners expand their cybersecurity businesses across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Westcon-Comstor has introduced a new partner development programme with Palo Alto Networks designed to help selected channel partners accelerate growth and strengthen their cybersecurity businesses across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The Partner Growth Circle combines structured business planning, technical enablement, sales support and demand-generation resources to help participating partners develop their Palo Alto Networks portfolios and increase customer engagement.
Under the initiative, partners will work directly with Westcon-Comstor to create joint business plans covering priority solutions, target customer accounts and agreed sales pipeline objectives.
These plans will be supported by coordinated sales and technical engagement, providing partners with additional resources to identify opportunities and develop their businesses.
Partners that successfully deliver against their agreed objectives will gain access to exclusive Westcon-Comstor benefits, including tailored services workshops, certification support and demand-generation funding.
Participants will also be able to use the distributor’s existing value-added services, including its Tech Xpert community, 3D Lab virtual demonstration environments and sales and pre-sales enablement resources.
The programme is intended to help partners strengthen their technical capabilities while developing more consistent and scalable sales opportunities.
Westcon-Comstor will also incorporate its Intelligent Demand (iD) programme, which uses predictive data analytics to identify sales opportunities with a higher likelihood of conversion.
By combining this intelligence with joint business planning, the distributor aims to help partners focus their sales and marketing activities on opportunities with stronger commercial potential.
Performance against individual business plans and pipeline objectives will be reviewed quarterly, providing a framework for measuring progress and identifying areas requiring additional support.
Daniel Hurel, Senior Vice President, Westcon EMEA Go-To-Market at Westcon-Comstor, said: “We continue to see strong demand for Palo Alto Networks solutions across EMEA, as organisations adapt their cybersecurity posture to the opportunities and risks created by AI. The Partner Growth Circle is about helping partners translate that demand into scalable, repeatable business growth. By bringing together joint business planning, technical enablement, demand generation and our wider value-added capabilities, we can help partners build stronger pipelines, expand customer relationships and develop more repeatable sources of revenue. It is a focused approach built around shared commitments and measurable progress, and the next step in our collaboration with Palo Alto Networks.”
The initiative builds on the established distribution relationship between Westcon-Comstor and Palo Alto Networks, which spans multiple markets across EMEA.
Their previous joint programmes include SASEvolution, which combines Palo Alto Networks Prisma SASE technology with Westcon-managed services to create ready-to-sell offerings for channel partners.
The Partner Growth Circle extends this approach by introducing a more structured framework for business development, with an emphasis on measurable growth and closer collaboration between the distributor and its partners.
The programme was introduced following the recent WestConnect event in Barcelona, which brought together channel partners and senior representatives from Westcon-Comstor and Palo Alto Networks.
During the event, seven partners were recognised through a Palo Alto Networks-focused regional awards programme celebrating business growth, technical expertise and customer engagement.
South Africa’s Compugeddon CC received the EMEA Partner of the Year award, while UAE-based Fireware LLC was named MEA Partner of the Year.
Other regional winners included ncubed B.V. from the Netherlands for Northern Europe, Netica S.R.L. from Italy for Southern Europe and Blue Technologies Ltd & Co KG from Germany for the DACH region.
Boxxe Limited received the UK and Ireland Partner of the Year award, while Spain’s Esferize was recognised as Rising Star.
The awards formed part of a wider programme encouraging partners to develop their technical capabilities, strengthen sales pipelines and make greater use of the services available through the Westcon-Comstor and Palo Alto Networks partnership.
Patricia Murphy, Vice President of EMEA Ecosystems at Palo Alto Networks, said: “Partners are at the heart of our mission to secure the digital future, especially at a time when EMEA organisations are navigating the complexities and opportunities of AI-driven cybersecurity. The Partner Growth Circle represents a powerful evolution in our relationship with Westcon-Comstor, providing partners with the structure, enablement and resources needed to scale effectively. By aligning our products and services with Westcon-Comstor’s deep channel expertise, we are creating a clear path for our mutual partners to accelerate growth, expand their technical capabilities, and deliver exceptional value to our joint customers.”
The Partner Growth Circle is intended to provide participating partners with a more coordinated approach to developing their Palo Alto Networks businesses, combining commercial planning with technical resources and ongoing performance reviews.
Through the initiative, Westcon-Comstor and Palo Alto Networks aim to help partners strengthen customer relationships, increase sales opportunities and establish more repeatable sources of revenue as demand for cybersecurity solutions continues to evolve across EMEA.
