Akamai Technologies, a cloud company that powers and protects life online, and Fujitsu, a leading global Digital Transformation company, have extended their strategic relationship that will see the benefits of Akamai Cloud Computing services reaching more organisations across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

The enhanced strategic relationship will see Akamai expanding its services and solutions footprint in Australia at Fujitsu’s Melbourne data centre, bolstering Akamai’s presence in the region and providing customers with greater access to more modern cloud native and affordable cloud infrastructure.

As part of the expanded suite, Fujitsu will offer Akamai’s industry leading cloud computing services and security solutions to its ANZ customers under its portfolio of hybrid multi-cloud offerings. Fujitsu will also promote Akamai’s cloud computing services across its team in ANZ, providing customers with a strong, fit-for-purpose, cloud solution with cost-effective egress savings.

Bringing innovative, cost-effective solutions to accelerate cloud adoption

Under the aegis of Akamai Connected Cloud, a widely distributed edge and cloud platform for computing, security and content delivery, ANZ organisations will have the ability to optimise their cloud strategies even more cost effectively, a key focus for leaders in the region.
