efex forges exclusive voice communications partnership with Access4

CloudTop Stories

Access4, a leading wholesale provider of voice and Unified Communication-as-a-Service (UCaaS) solutions, has announced that IT services provider, efex, will partner exclusively with the company as the voice backbone for its recently re-branded and expanded suite of affordable efex Comms cloud-based B2B communications solutions.

Last year, efex was named as Access4’s Australian Partner of the Year and this new product partnership between the two companies will further extend the relationship by providing efex with the opportunity to further diversify its business and build upon its digitally managed services for its customers.

The new efex range of communications solutions supported by Access4 voice functionality include efex Comms, a core offering designed for SMBs, as well as Comms Xpress, for businesses that don’t have a major demand on their phone and can pay per line rather than per user to keep costs down.  In addition, efex is also offering a flexible and scalable Comms Teams offering for Microsoft 365 applications users.

Nick Sheehan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, efex

Nick Sheehan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, efex, said: “Every efex customer is unique and with efex Comms we can give businesses exactly what they need when they need it with the scalability and affordability underpinned by Access4.  Moreover, we can also back it with local support on demand which is a refreshing change in the telco industry.  At the same time, as both organisations think customer first, both efex and Access4 are well aligned to constantly elevate the customer experience with ongoing new feature functionality.”

efex has been an Access4 partner since 2020 and over the past four years the relationship between the two companies has grown significantly, with efex being one of only a few Access4 Diamond++ partners, the highest tier of Access4 partnership, in the country.

“The vast majority of what we do at efex is managed IT infrastructure and we have an established stack offering with different vendors,” said Sheehan. “We decided to exclusively deploy Access4 for our voice communications and collaboration based on the solution’s stability, functionality, ease of deployment and affordability which all up create a great service relationship with clients.”

efex has 20 offices across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia and around 6,700 clients, while Access4 works with more than 400 partners around the country.

Peter Eldon, Director of Sales and Marketing, Access4

“We are a value added UCaaS vendor with great sales tools and support to feed into companies with a sales structure such as efex to support partner growth and customer retention,” said Peter Eldon, Director of Sales and Marketing, Access4.  “At the same time, efex has built a heritage of technical expertise to support SMEs and their comms business is now another services line which reinforces their overall digital services offering.”

“While there will never be a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to the adoption of IT&T in a cloud computing world, all our products ensure our partners can deploy the most appropriate solution for their customers’ individual needs.  Efex has massive growth potential and together we have a strong base of customers and look forward to jointly launching new solutions in the years ahead.”
