Gigamon, a leader in deep observability, has announced Mark Jow as EMEA Sales Engineering Leader and Technical Evangelist, to help organisations harness the power of deep observability and realise the full potential of the hybrid cloud.
It comes at a time when, due to a challenging economic environment, organisations are struggling to balance seemingly conflicting needs: to stay secure, continue to deliver the agility that cloud can provide, yet also contain and reduce their cloud expenditure.
As the organisation’s first field evangelist for EMEA, Jow has over 30 years of experience in the industry, having held senior technical leadership positions in Oracle, EMC, Veritas and more recently Commvault.
Jow joins the Gigamon team with a wealth of services and solution engineering experience supporting customers in the selection and implementation of innovative, agile and cost-effective hardware and software solutions for hybrid cloud, that drive compelling business outcomes.
Jow’s priorities in the new role are to develop and support the sales engineering team and to drive awareness for customers and partners on how deep observability can be an active enabler for delivering a Zero Trust architecture, reducing cloud costs and infrastructure complexity, while improving the overall security posture for their organisations.
