Software AG and iot squared partner to drive IoT led innovation in Saudi Arabia

Under the alliance and as a partner for Saudi Arabia in the Saudi Arabia, iot squared will enable enterprises to unlock future business value across industries and achieve operational excellence

Software AG and IoT Technologies, iot squared, a joint venture between Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund and stc Group, have signed an MoU to drive rapid growth of IoT across Saudi Arabia. This partnership will build an ecosystem to support businesses in their IoT adoption and further develop Saudi Arabia’s digital economy, in line with its Vision 2030 objectives.

The agreement was signed between Othman Aldahash, CEO, iot squared and Mamdouh Al Olayan, Country Manager-Saudi Arabia, Software AG. Under the collaboration, iot squared will enable enterprises to innovate new services and experiences, optimise operations and accelerate outcomes in an ecosystem via Software AG’s IoT solutions to be fully connected enterprises.

With the aim to accelerate the fourth industrial revolution, the partnership will address challenges and opportunities faced by business leaders in their transformational endeavours as well as to explore initiatives to develop training programs for Saudi talents in IoT field.

Moreover, in line with the nation’s vision to fast track digital transformation, Software AG and iot squared will also cooperate in creating joint IoT partnerships for business solutions in Saudi Arabia to address complex IoT implementations through its state-of-the-art, scalable and commercially flexible platform for IoT use cases.

The partnership will also develop high-impact IoT training programs for Saudi talent, through theoretical knowledge and practical application of Software AG’s Cumulocity IoT to meet the rapidly growing industry needs of this technology. Additionally, it will support in realising iot squared’s mission of creating a technology network in support of businesses for IoT adoptions via consultations, implementations, training and facilitation of funding models.
