Gigamon, Redington to present new security platform at Gitex 2016
Gigamon, a provider of traffic visibility solutions, announced its participation at Gitex Technology Week 2016. The company, along with its distributor Redington, will put the spotlight on its Visibility Fabric and the security delivery platform GigaSecure at the ICT event. Senior global executives and experts will meet with customers and partners and hold demonstrations on the features and benefits of its security solutions.
GigaSecure is a security delivery platform that provides pervasive visibility of network traffic, users, applications and suspicious activity, and delivers it to multiple security devices simultaneously without impacting network availability. The direct result is that third party security appliances are more effective at protection and remediation, and the cost and complexity of security infrastructure is reduced.
“Today, organisations around the world are fighting a growing enemy, and losing. Cyber criminals have breached almost every major corporation and government department and it is time to turn the tables on cyber crime. With data dispersed across the infrastructure, IT organisations struggle to manage, analyse, and secure their networks. A Visibility Fabric can provide pervasive visibility across the network. Gigamon understands the importance of critical data and we have solutions available today, from standalone visibility in a box to distributed offerings extending visibility to remote locations. We are looking forward to highlighting the importance of visibility in the security strategy of regional enterprises and showcase GigaSecure, an innovation that makes the world’s most effective security tools even stronger,” said Trevor Dearing, EMEA Marketing Director at Gigamon.
“Gitex 2016 will be a great opportunity for us to meet with key decision makers and to educate the market on the importance of visibility and security solutions to organisations in the Middle East. We will have technology experts at the stand to hold product demonstrations and share our global successes with visitors attending the event,” Dearing added.
