Microsoft's go to market was around solutions for cloud, IoT, big data, analytics through its ecosystem of vendors and channel partners. This included CEM Business Solutions, Veeam, Saviant, Emitac, Spusht, Techmart Solutions, Ankaref, Mindtree, Cybercom Group, Dunav Net, Infasme, Cloudera, Visual ACE ERP, Westcon, Netways, Icertis, Aura Portal, amongst others.

Gitex 2016 witnessed tier-one channel partners taking a direct presence especially as value added distributors for IT security solutions. System integrators, value added resellers, developers were also present at various vendors stalls including Microsoft, Oracle, ManageEngine, SAP, amongst others.

And solutions from security vendors Aruba Clearpass, Anubis Networks, Barracuda, Bitdefender, Boole Server, Certes Networks, Fortinet, Hillstone Networks.


Value added distributor Bulwark Technologies presented its solution stack across IT security, reporting, unified communication, web analytics. It offers solutions in the areas of information archival, data encryption, endpoint security, data access, identity management, two factor authentication, vulnerability assessment, IT risk management, IT infrastructure auditing, enterprise messaging, antivirus, web analytics. Its list of vendor partners include Sophos, Mimecast, Eset, Acunetix, Lastline, Varonis, File Cloud, Arcon, Linoma, Securenvoy, Netwrix, Sendquick, Webtrends.


Nuvias is a recent entry into the regional value added distribution market and is focused on security, connectivity, communication solutions. Its regional vendor partners include AirVM, Allied Telesis, Black Duck Software, Igel Technology, HID Global, JetNexus, Infocyte, Lenovo, Malwarebytes, Lifesize, Mimecast, Netskope, Nokia, Tintri, ProLabs, Unitrends.
