Canon Saudi Arabia is taking part in the Saudi Print and Pack event

The exhibition will be the first event by Canon since the launch of its direct operation in KSA.

Canon Saudi Arabia (CSA) is showcasing its extensive range of innovative print solutions at the Saudi Print and Pack event until January 30 at the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events.

At the first event since formally establishing direct operations in KSA, Canon Saudi Arabia is emphasising its commitment to helping partners and customers in the Kingdom thrive by providing value added on-ground after sales support directly from the company, in addition to direct advice on products and services from Canon professionals.

At the event, the company is presenting six experience zones to highlight the opportunities available to commercial print partners as well as print departments of all sizes. These zones include production print, signage, solutions, commercial printing, photo printing and service.

Each of these sections will help businesses discover new ways to increase overall productivity to handle growing output, unlock new efficiencies, and introduce them to capabilities to diversify.

KSA is presently witnessing transformation into a more diversified economy with several industries developing and establishing a presence in the region’s largest market. The Kingdom’s printing market is the oldest and the largest in the Gulf and is estimated to grow to pass $7 billion in 2022, according to a report by Smithers Pira.

Through the delivery of advanced technologies and solutions designed to meet growing demand in this dynamic market, as well as the provision of customised customer service, Canon Saudi Arabia aims to cultivate long term business partnerships in the Kingdom and together achieve business growth and customer satisfaction.

CSA, reporting to regional headquarters Canon Middle East, was formally established in 2018 to strengthen the company’s regional presence and provide robust on-ground support to customers and partners in the Kingdom. Closely aligned with Canon’s ‘closer to customer’ strategy, the company’s largest regional direct presence operates from Riyadh with two branches in Jeddah and Khobar, and directly contributes to Saudi Arabia’s economy and industry diversification strategy as outlined within Vision 2030.

“Establishing direct operations in the KSA is testament to Canon’s customer centric approach to help businesses go beyond the implementation of technology and ensure long term success. Banking on our years of expertise in this sector, we look forward to being the partner of choice for businesses in the Kingdom looking to take advantage of the productivity, quality and flexibility that digital printing technology delivers,” said Shadi Bakhour, Business Unit Director, B2B, Canon Middle East.

“During our participation at Saudi Print & Pack 2019, a key event for the industry in the Kingdom, we look forward to showing our customers and partners how they can create value for their customers in new ways, through inventive business models and innovation.”

Every zone of the Canon stand will feature relevant solutions including a range of digital production presses, wide format output devices, photo printers, multi-function devices, workflow automation solutions and supporting software, among others.

High quality print will be demonstrated on imagePRESS C10000, the imagePRESS C850 series, the Océ VarioPrint 6220 TITAN, the varioPRINT 140 series, imagePROGRAF TX-4000, imagePROGRAF PRO-6000S, Océ PlotWave 365, Arizona 1280 GT, to name a few.

A prominent highlight of the stand will be the Océ Colorado 1640 roll-to-roll printer, built on Canon’s groundbreaking UVgel technology.

The newly launched imagePROGRAF TM Series of large format inkjet printers for customers producing CAD, GIS and poster applications, will also be unveiled to the Saudi market at this year’s edition of Saudi Print and Pack. The new ImagePROGRAF TM-300 and T36 deliver high quality large format prints on demand, bringing the ability to produce CAD drawings, GIS maps and posters in-house, reducing outsourcing costs and response times.

Canon will also reinforce its commitment to provide exceptional customer service to customers in KSA through the incorporation of direct feedback resulting in a customised approach to address business challenges and ensure long term success.

Delivering a complete solution portfolio that is a combination of hardware and software, the company pursues constant dialogue to enhance business success with the establishment of direct operations in the Kingdom.

Canon Saudi Arabia will be present on stand 396-3 at the event.
