With Veeam Accredited Service Partner (VASP) services, members can differentiate their offerings, achieve value realisation and drive customer journey success.

Veeam Software, a leader in backup solutions that deliver cloud data management, has announced the launch of its enhanced Veeam Accredited Services Partner (VASP) programme to strengthen its partners’ capabilities to sell, deploy and support Veeam solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

This transition seamlessly aligns with Veeam’s go-to-market model and enables Veeam’s partners to provide a direct service delivery model to Veeam customers.

According to the 2019 Veeam Cloud Data Management Report, 71% of the senior business and IT business decision makers surveyed agreed that technology will be the most important factor of their Digital Transformation.

As product implementations become more sophisticated, Veeam recognises the growing customer demand to identify partners, system integrators or freelance consultants that are able to deliver high-quality professional services and technical implementations related to Veeam solutions.

The new programme restructures the Veeam professional services department to a channel alignment model, dedicating internal resources exclusively to VASP members. With Veeam’s enhanced VASP programme members can now differentiate service offerings and drive customer success.

“Today, data management is imperative to an organisation’s growth. To remain competitive, leaders need qualified professionals to implement and manage the technologies that will enable them to transform into more intelligent businesses,” said Danny Allan, Vice President of Product Strategy at Veeam.

“Veeam is committed to delivering a business model that is fully focused on its partner ecosystem and providing the highest level of service for its customers. With these enhanced capabilities to our partner ecosystem, partners are equipped with the tools to shape and control the solution transaction and customer journey.”

The new programme offers a number of benefits to its members, including:

  • Creation of new business and revenue opportunities for service partners
  • Resources that enable partner sales teams to win larger, more complex deals
  • Enhances partners capabilities and delivery skillsets
  • Accelerates customer Time-to-Value (TtV) with deeper integration
  • Continued education around Veeam capabilities and services, along with beta testing for new functions, to ensure efficient solution adoption and total customer satisfaction

VASP members receive access to:

  • Veeam services IP on the partner portal to help them build out their services portfolio
  • Collaborative and customised service offerings such as sizing and scaling tools and services kits
  • Dedicated resources to ensure customer success

Brandon Jackson, Technical Architect, Data Centre Converged Solutions at CDW, said: “As an original member of VASP, CDW has seen tremendous value in working with Veeam. The new enhancements and added internal resources will enable us to continue bringing the best solutions forward to help solve our customers’ data availability goals.

“VASP has a wide variety of benefits to partners; allowing us to collaborate with the Veeam channel around service offering collateral, helps ensure our technical resources have a quick route to work with Veeam as needed, and ensures the services and solutions we develop and bring to the market are closely aligned with Veeam’s mission and focus with the end customers.”

Scott Lillis, President and CEO at The Lillis Technology Group, said: “When we select a strategic partner, we go ‘all in’ and invest in our teams’ capabilities around their solution. These new enhancements to Veaam’s VASP programme demonstrate their continued commitment to their partners.

“Veeam’s VASP programme has been a tremendous help in building a framework where our investment can truly differentiate us in the marketplace. Through a combination of establishing stringent requirements to participate in the programme and supporting their VASP partners Veeam has created a world-class approach to ensure their customers have a path to receive quality assistance with their deployments.”

Greg Richey, Director at Digital Transformation Solutions at Ingram Micro, said: “We are honoured and excited to become a Veeam Accredited Service Provider in the US. This designation not only validates our strong relationship with Veeam but also Ingram Micro’s technical expertise and on-going investment in Veeam technology. Adding this designation to our current portfolio of Veeam products, solutions and certification training reinforces our value to our partners and prospective partners.”

Phil Cambers, Commercial Director at TruStack, said: “TruStack see great value in being a VASP Partner. In a congested marketplace having something to help differentiate us is a real value point. The VASP status gives us the platform to bring our specialist skills to a wider audience as well as allowing Veeam to be able to offer our services to the reseller and end-user community with the peace of mind that we will deliver exemplary professional services.”

Patrick Louwe, CEO at It2grow, said: Joining the VASP programme gave a boost to our company. We grew in turnover, intensified co-operation with other Veeam partners and it was an acknowledgement to the experience and know how of our consultants.” For more information on the VASP programme, visit: https://propartner.veeam.com/vasp.
