CMCS announced that Dubai Parks and Resorts, a theme park destination, has deployed its PMWeb web based project control system. The solution is a part of CMCS’ project management information solution practice that offers organisations a single platform to manage, control and report on their project selection and delivery performance. PMWeb ensures improved business practices in project selection and delivery, effectiveness in construction claims, enhanced efficiency from automating process, and optimised operating cost.
Dubai Parks and Resorts has deployed PMWeb for its planning and procurement process with the objective of maintaining transparency and accountability in the entire resort. Planning, procurement, correspondence, cost management, custom form builder, drawing sets, and lists, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, daily reports, document management, and visual workflow are some of the features implemented.
Dubai Parks and Resorts now uses engineering forms for tracking submittals, meeting minutes, daily reports, and shop drawing, enabling its management and team members to collaborate on and analyse progress reports. PMWeb is also being used for tracking correspondence, workflow and notification to assist in online approval processes. Attachments are stored within records and are easily accessible with customisable security controls.
