Veeam Software, the Availability for the Always-On Enterprise™ innovator, has reiterated its commitment to helping Middle East enterprises meet the requirements for 24.7.365 Availability and deliver seamless Digital Life experiences by announcing its participation for the seventh consecutive year at GITEX Technology Week, which will be held between 8-12 October 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The company will demonstrate the NEW Veeam Availability Suite v10 that bridges the ‘Availability Gap’ (the gap between users demand for uninterrupted access to IT services and what businesses and IT can deliver) and drives business continuity and agility to new levels.

Gregg Petersen, Regional Sales Vice President, MEA, Veeam Software said, “According to the latest Veeam Availability Report, 82 per cent of enterprises in the Middle East admit to suffering an ‘Availability Gap’, which is impacting the bottom line to the tune of $21.8 million per year, and almost two thirds of respondents admit that this is holding back innovation. Today’s users are very demanding. At home, work or school, users want a seamless digital experience and 24.7.365 access to data and applications. Companies that want to succeed in today’s fiercely competitive business environment realise that there is zero tolerance for downtime.

“At GITEX, we intend educating CIOs and IT managers about the need to re-think their IT strategies and service models and move away from legacy backup and recovery solutions as they virtualise their infrastructures and move to the cloud. Availability solutions for the modern datacentre is the way forward and is central to digital transformation.”

GITEX Trade show attendees will get an opportunity to learn about the various innovations in the NEW Veeam Availability Suite v10 that offers a complete end-to-end Availability and cross-cloud data management platform for enterprise customers by supporting any workloads (virtual, physical or cloud) on any infrastructure in Multi-Cloud and Hybrid Cloud environments (private, public, managed or SaaS).
