Summits of Leaders hosted in Oxford Town Hall have been a source of inspiration, learning and transformation for those who are looking to build better business.

STME, the Middle East’s leading IT solutions provider and systems integrator, headquartered in Dubai, was honoured with two awards at the concluded Summit of Leaders gathering held in Oxford, UK in December 2016. The Summit of Leaders is a gala gathering of the members and partners of the Europe Business Assembly and the Academic Union Oxford that has been held since 2000.

At the Socrates Award Ceremony, STME was recognised for its efforts in the MENA regional IT industry as a leading provider of IT systems, implementer of modern management technologies, and for its efforts in nurturing a highly-qualified staff, and developing efficient marketing strategies. Honouring these efforts, STME was presented with the Best Enterprise award. The Best Enterprise award was established in 2000 to present leading regional companies to European business pools. Nominees for the award are selected by the international expert council.

At the same event, STME’s CEO Ayman Albayaa was honoured with the Manager of the Year award, recognising his commitment and contribution to STME’s success.

“It is a great honour to be recognised and felicitated by the Europe Business Assembly at the Summit of Leaders in 2016. As a team, we have worked diligently to provide our clients with best-in-class IT solutions, and services,” commented Albayaa. “I am also humbled to have received the award for Manager of the Year and I give credit to my colleagues at STME,’’ he continued.

The annual branded event Summit of Leaders, Oxford 2016 was held under the aegis of Europe Business Assembly, The Academic Union, Oxford, ICL on the 20th of December 2016. For years, the Summits of Leaders hosted in Oxford Town Hall have been a source of inspiration, learning and transformation for those who are looking to build better businesses and a better society.

Traditionally Europe Business Assembly gathered together prominent academia, think tank, business icons, international leaders and CEOs, brilliant minds from 48 countries to discuss the issues and trends that will determine the future of education and business from. The agenda included the plenary session with key-note speeches and presentations that highlighted current challenges in education management, an overview of The Academic Union, Oxford activities as well as presentation of training programmes of Business Training Center, Oxford.

The presentations were divided into special sessions academic and business devoted to: Innovative Solutions to Global Economic Challenges on a Regional Level and Innovative Practices in Learning Process. The guest star of the Summit was Minister of Higher Education and Training, Republic of South Africa, Dr Bonginkosi Nzimande. He spoke up on state educational initiatives and viable innovative approaches to education with government support in the Republic of South Africa.

Within the framework of The Socrates Award Ceremony best regional businesses, leading scientific and medical institutions with solid professional reputation shared success stories and received the deserved European recognition from international business and professional elite.

At the Socrates Award Ceremony, Europe Business Assembly was proud to present STME as a leading IT industry provider. STME was awarded with the Best Enterprise Award for the strong position in the national market and in international ratings, successful implementation of modern management technologies, high staff qualification and efficient marketing strategy. Ayman Albayaa, CEO of STME, was honoured as the Manager of the Year.

The Summit of Leaders as a traditional grand-scale gathering of members and partners of Europe Business Assembly and the Academic Union Oxford has been held since 2000 and has been attended by more than 6,500 delegates from 56 countries.
