Redington Value, a leading technology distributor, has announced it has joined the Nokia Global Partner Program. Under a channel partner agreement with the company, Redington Value will deliver Nokia’s technology solutions and services to resellers and their customers in the Middle East and Africa (MEA). Nokia, a global leader creating the technologies to connect the world, is uniquely positioned to help Communications Service Providers (CSPs), governments and large enterprises deliver next generation technologies such as 5G, Cloud and the Internet of Things (IoT).

As a result of this partnership agreement, Redington Value will market, distribute and service Nokia’s network solutions to enterprise and public sector customers as a value added reseller. Redington Value will leverage the strength, skills and experience of Nokia to extend the availability of Nokia’s carrier-grade solutions throughout the entire MEA region. These solutions include Internet Protocol/Multi-protocol label switching (IP/MPLS) routing, packet optical transport, packet microwave, Passive Optical LAN (POL) and other fixed access technologies based on copper, fibre and wireless technologies including Wi-Fi and small cells.

Ramkumar Balakrishnan, President of Redington Value, said: “We are delighted to have partnered with Nokia, which constantly innovates with its research powerhouse Nokia Bell Labs to address the requirements of our customers. Nokia’s technology leadership in IP/Optical Networks, SDN, FTTx and mobile networks will help us drive success for our resellers and its customers. Our strong partnership will help it build large-scale, carrier-grade IP/Optical infrastructure for web-scale companies, and mission-critical solutions for public sector players, public safety agencies, smart cities, transportation organisations, energy and tech-centric enterprise customers; to name but a few.”

Ismael Hassa, Head of Partner Management, Nokia, MEA, added: “The Nokia Global Partner Program is a key part of Nokia’s go-to-market strategy to make our innovative solutions easily available to enterprise and public sector businesses. The partnership with Redington Value will enable us to accomplish this across the MEA region. We are working with Redington Value not only to expand into traditional distribution networks but also, more importantly, to provide Nokia cloud-based services such as IoT, SDN, wireless and security. Redington Value will be able to help its extensive network of value-added resellers seamlessly take new, affordable and innovative services to their customers.”
