The EMEA Partner conference saw key partners from across EMEA learn more about Forcepoint’s transformation of cybersecurity and the opportunities to grow in 2018 and beyond.

Global cybersecurity vendor Forcepoint announced its partner award winners, presented during its EMEA Channel Partner conference in Lisbon, Portugal. Key channel partners from across the region attended a two-day conference to learn more about Forcepoint’s human-centric security strategy and intelligent Human Point System portfolio of capabilities, and to celebrate the global partner community and the support they add to the Forcepoint organisation.

The winners this year are:

  • Emerging Markets Partner of the Year: BMB Group Lebanon
  • EMEA Distributor of the Year: Starlink UAE
  • Rising Star Award: Project Informatica SRL Italy
  • UK and Ireland Partner of the Year: Softcat UK
  • Central and Eastern European Partner of the Year: e-Xpert Solutions Switzerland
  • Southern Europe Partner of the Year: DGS Italy
  • EMEA Marketing Partner of the Year: Bytes Security Partnerships UK

“We are delighted to celebrate the success which investment in our human-centric security approach brings to our EMEA network of partners,” said Neal Lillywhite, Vice President of Channel, EMEA.

“Forcepoint is driving an inflection point in the cybersecurity industry. The approach the industry has taken to date simply is not working any longer. It was built for a different time, a different and more tightly held IT environment and a different threat landscape. At Forcepoint, we are reinventing security with our human-centric approach, by delivering uncompromising systems that understand people’s behavior and motivations as they interact with data and IP everywhere.”

Delegates to the conference were welcomed by Matt Moynahan, CEO, and Tom Flink, Vice President of Global Channel Sales, and heard presentations from subject matter experts and local sales leadership. Forcepoint is the only company bringing together start anywhere integrated cybersecurity capabilities encompassing Data Loss Prevention, UEBA, CASB, Web Email Security and Network Security that enables its partners to offer a differentiated and high-growth cybersecurity product line, even within a partner’s extensive technology portfolio.

The EMEA Partner conference saw key partners from across EMEA learn more about Forcepoint’s transformation of cybersecurity and the opportunities to grow in 2018 and beyond.

In addition, during the last six months, many strategic partner firms have joined Forcepoint’s channel programme, including Be Takeoff in Switzerland, Agnitio in Norway, Comsource in the Czech Republic, ReeVo Cloud in Italy, Yourax in France, Link Connect in the UK, and MSS, based in Germany but providing services across mainland Europe, the UK, and North America.

Jaroslav Cihelka, Sales Executive, Comsource, added, “We are confident that these innovative cybersecurity solutions from Forcepoint are what we need to continue to grow together. Within a mature and multinational market, we need a differentiated portfolio that helps prioritise and eliminate risk to protect our end-user customers against an ever-evolving threat landscape.”

Simone Materazzi, CEO, BeTakeoff said, “We closely examine the technical capabilities of the solutions we work with, and it is the centralised management and high availability of Forcepoint NGFW in particular which really appeals to our customers. Forcepoint’s human-centric approach appeals to us – and our customers – as they seek to protect users, critical data and networks.”

The conference delivered insight to EMEA partners on how focus at Forcepoint is shifting to the end user, by enabling risk adaptive protection that dynamically applies enforcement policies to activity and alerts representing the highest risk to an enterprise or government organisation, rather than fighting a never-ending battle of stopping threats.

With risk adaptive protection, cybersecurity programs, processes and technology can be uniquely applied to the individual, not just to broad groups of users within the organisation, thereby lowering overall risk, accelerating business transformation and reducing cost.
